Greetings from Newcastle to all at Bath's first co-op pub!
We are holding a community share issue right now to try and create the UK's first co-op jazz venue.
We've raised most of the money we need but we're finding it difficult to sell the last few shares. We'd appreciate your help.
Maybe some of the music lovers who invested in the Bell would also like to invest in our venture (The Globe). Maybe there are some homesick Geordies in Bath.
Please could pass on the following message. Thanks.
Here’s a unique venture that you might want to support – a live music venue owned by a jazz co-operative.
It’s in Newcastle and if it succeeds, as we believe it will, we think music venue co-ops will be set up in other cities.
We’re not asking you to give us money. We want you to invest. You’ll be able to withdraw your shares after three years if you want to, or you can earn interest on them.
You may invest any amount between £200 and £20,000.
You can apply for shares in two ways:
Online at
www.microgenius.org.uk/project/pink-lane...o-op-at-the-globe-17
Or by post using the application form on the last page of the share offer document

Please pass this message on to anyone who you think might be interested in supporting the creation of the UK’s first live music and jazz education co-operative. It will be another jazz friendly venue that will nurture local talent and welcome touring bands.
There's two videos that explain more about the venture at the bottom of this link
