Is there any mechanism for letting people who have given in cheques by hand, or posted them, know that the cheque has actually been received by Sue?

I handed mine in over the bar last Wednesday, but I have not had any confirmation it was received. Obviously for those doing it electronically, they will have the bank reference. Just a thought, as I know that things can and do get mislaid, or lost in the post.

Hello Deborah - I notice that your question has been up for quite a few hours without a reply, so I thought I would tell you of our experience, until you get a proper response from Sue or someone else on the board.

If you included an email address with the submission form with your cheque, then I expect that your will get a receipt with a number (not a share certificate) sent through very shortly. Ours took a few days to process, so I am sure one is winging it's way to your inbox right now. 91% - It's looking good!

Deborah, sorry for the delay replying and sorry also if you have not received acknowledgment yet for your cheque. It has (as you might imagine) been manic here the last week or so. But rest assured that applications handed in at the bar are then put into our safe until our company secretary Sue Pryor can collect and go through them. She photographs each cheque and logs it on a spreadsheet before paying in, and then sends out receipts. I am sure yours will be on its way soon. Many thanks,
